英文感谢信 英文感谢信感谢老师篇一

it is my great pleasure to show my hearty thanks to you for your hospitality and courtesy to me during my stay in london.

originally i only wanted to call on you and gave my father’s regards to you, as it had been three years since you and he last saw each other. but you insisted that i stay in your house during my visit in london and took good care of my life as if i were a family member of you instead of the daughter of one of your friends. you really added greatly to my convenience and pleasure of the whole trip.

thank you again for your kindness and i hope that i will have the opportunity to return your charming hospitality.

yours faithfully,

wu ting

dear teacher ,

i am writing to you to express my thanks for your help in learning english and speaking english.

during these days in your class, i have learned much from you and it is very helpful to me. firstly, you let me know what is the west thinking pattern—straight thinking pattern. and, i think, it is very important to understand the west’s thoughts. as you know, this can help me with my examination and interaction with foreigners. secondly, i have got enough confidence in speaking in english from your class and it took me a long time to gain this confidence. now, i

always express my ideas in english as possible as i can. it’s great to do that. the last not the least, i find that learning english is not an boring thing as before and i’m interested in studying

english which was just a necessary task to pass examinations. reading, listening or speaking all become interesting and i really enjoy it. above all, i want to say thanks again to you. and thank you for your time.

good luck!

dear mr./ms./mrs. wang,

today, on this special occasion of teachers’ day, i am writing to extend my greetings and express my gratitude to you.

you are the most caring, respected and admired person that i have ever known. i was lucky to have you as my first teacher when i began school. “do what you would like to be done by others.” that is what you taught me in my first lesson. your teaching has been a lighthouse for me since then. i would not be a versatile university student without your education. although i have not seen you for ages, i can picture you teaching us in the classroom. thank you for what you have taught me.

wish you a healthy and happy life, and a successful and fruitful career!

best regards,

li ming

dear mr. seaton:

thank you very much for taking me with you on that splendid outing to london. it was the first timethat i had seen the tower or any of the other famous sights. if id gone alone, i couldnt have seen nearly as much, because i wouldnt have known my way about the weather wassplendid on that day, which i thought was rare. i still remember some people toldme that in britain there was weather and no climate. during the same day, it mightsnow in the morning, rain at noon, shine in the afternoon and be windy before thenight falls. so i think i was lucky.

i think the rivertrip was the best thing of all. london really came alive for me as we saw it fromthe thames during that wonderful journey down to greenwich. it was all tremendouslyexciting - a day that i shall never forget.

thank you forgiving me such a great birthday treat.

yours sincerely,

linda chen
