英语专业就业难的原因：
随着改革开放的深入，我国对外语类人才的需求也与年俱增，应该说前景是乐观的。但由于前几年外语专业招生过热，这几年总的就业形势已出现供过于求的局面。其中，师范类外语专业需求量相对较大，师范院校的外语毕业生的就业较为容易，甚至不少非师范外语院校的毕业生也愿去从教。

三、解决方法
解决大学生就业问题不是一朝一夕就能完成的事情，而是一项长期的“系统工程”，需要在政府宏观调控下大学生、市场、高校三者的协调与合作。
首先，政府综合运用各种手段，做好宏观调控，给大学毕业生创造一个比较平等的竞争择业环境。短时间内政府解决大学生就业困境的当务之急应该是通过法律、政策等手段消除那些妨碍大学生就业的制度、政策壁垒，尤其是关于户口和流动问题，这虽然不能从根本上改变当前大学生涌向大城市就业难的现状，但可以有效缓解当前大量学生纷纷积压在大城市求职的状况;大学生在择业时缺乏安全感，常有后顾之忧，担心失业、生病以及其他状况后生活没有保障。由于我国的社会保障体系还不够完善、成熟，特别是城乡二元结构和东西地区发展不平衡使社会保障存在着较大的差异性。故大学生在择业时心有余悸，不得不考虑社会保障这个很实际的问题，从而争相到条件好的大中城市和单位就业。
