单词是学习英语的基础，只有打好了基础才能学好英语。当然并不是说只要把单词背出了，就能学好了英语了，那没有那么简单了。随着年级的升高，要求与难度自然是越来越高了。所以今天，我们主要是针对在我们六年级英语学习中遇到的问题和难题进行一下交流与探讨，看看怎样能够更好地进行解决以及家长需要做那些配合工作来促进孩子的学习。
1、单词能默写，但放到听力题目中就无法做对。为什么？平时的听力时间不够，对英语不够敏感。还有一个就是听力技巧问题了，无法抓住关键词。当然这个技巧的掌握必须是能听懂题目的基础上了。现在学生还欠缺的是平时的听录音不够，或者说专心听英语的时间还不够。您可能习惯在孩子睡觉前、起床后给孩子听录音磁带，这种方法很好，可以培养孩子的语感。此外，您还应该每天固定一个时间让孩子听录音磁带，并鼓励孩子大声跟读。听一句跟读一句，这样可以提高听读的准确性。对孩子的听力有着更大提高作用。
2、专心度不够：这里举几个例子，一次布置的英语回家作业是抄写书后的11个单词，要求学生抄四遍中文一遍，有15个学生都有错误。平时的抄写作业都会有学生抄错。另外，在上次期中测试中，在考试前的课堂中我透露了两道题目，到考试时这两道题目只有20个左右的学生答对。这些都说明学生在平时的课堂和回家作业时不够专心。
3、对英语的运用能力和理解能力还需提高。上次的期中测试中有很多题目都是涉及考查学生的运用和理解能力……
英语不是速成的，关键是靠平时的累积。认真听好课并积极回答老师提出的问题，用心完成每一次作业不犯低级错误，每天听英语录音并能理解录音内容，鼓励课外观看英语类节目或看英语课外书或者参加英语的学习。还有就是家长多关注孩子的学习，检查每天的作业是否完成，每次的测验情况如何。我想，如果我们能做到，那么情况会越来越好，问题会越来越少的。
